Massively underated band

this is there third album and their are riffs and guitar melodies to die for on this album (like at 2.25 into this album), stuff that really makes me cream my pants   oh and the guitar tones are perfect in my opinion, it's like the 90's never ruined anything

I'm going to see him and his current band tonight  :headbanger:
Nothing beats MB-1s and MP-1s with MDRTs

Hitting random Celtic/Nordic/Folk stuff, Mean Mary came up.
Never herd of her, and banjo normally ain't my preferred, but wow, just wow.
And I just love her voice too. Matter of fact, everything about her. What a gal.. :-*

Alexandra Zerner | Opus 1880

IMHO, she's breathtaking on 8-stringer, check her other vids, like "Memories of a Geicha" playthrough:

Oh, and her first solo album "Aspects". I was a bit tired at first listen, had to pause it; it's so complex.

Yeah, she's really amazing. I've been over "Aspects" three times now, so complex. Just added it above.
She just convinced me to get an 8-stringer again and keep my TSR-24S for processing ;)
So.. I'll be on the lookout for a Jackson SLAT8FF Soloist.

She and Sarah Longfield ranks at the top of my list of female progressive players - fully on par with male dittos

Just browsing various less-known artists when I noticed this vid of Uli Jon Roth on acoustic.
I had no idea he'd be into this kindof stuff too. Wow wow:

I've been on an Easter Europe / Russian music trip for a while.
Check these clips of Creia and Mike; she has a fantastic voice, capable of multiple styles, plus plays a range of instruments, and Mike is a pretty damn good bassist and drummer.
I'm so looking forward to when they release their own stuff.

And not least, daring to entertain a 24 minute interpretation of Nightwish:

Well. you've probably noticed I've developed a great affection for Alexandra Zerner :P :-*
Here's a nice long one-piece part from when she opened up for Dream Theater:
What I like about this is that it shows what she, with supporting band, is capable of live.
I don't know the other musicians, but I find them all dang good.

The arrangement is variations over her studio recordings; og check those to see the differences.
I love it when artists can do such variations live with impunity.  Turn up the volume, folks
