Title: Light went out on MP-2 display
Post by: Ekornbakke on November 18, 2014, 02:00:11 PM
Hi all.
The display lamp on my MP-2 went dark the other day. So the display itself works fine but the lamp quit working, so it can be hard to see what you are doing. I guess it is pretty simple to get the lamp changed. Does anyone have a parts number or any other tip for me?

There's no lamp in the lcd display,it's a row of leds and it's inpossible to replace the leds by itself.

As MJMP says, there is no lamp as such, you can however, replace the MP2 display. e.g. I have a very early Mp2 and the display is getting dim so I will replace the display, though I never look at it these days, once it's cooking (you've created all the patches you want/like) there is no real need to look at the display.....
