NGD - Headrush FRFR-112
« on: Time Format »

So now that my Gsp1101 is alive I picked up a pair of the headrush frfr-112 wedge monitors. Wow! My gsp has never sounded better.  Very loud but still ultra clear, no muddiness or fizziness at all.  :thumb-up:
Still trying to decide between Axe fx II or Ax8. I will get one or the other soon.

I have a friend that runs his Line6 Helix into one of those, pretty small setup.

My live rig is so much more compact. A four ru rack, 2 wedges, a Ground Control Pro and whichever axes I'm taking. I still have all my gear just moved it to my studio for now. Those Headrush wedges give the gsp1101 an extremely convincing tone. Plus I loaded some kick ass IR's in there. XLR's out of gsp to the wedges then when on stage XLR's out of wedges to FOH. No more dealing with idiots trying to mic my cabs properly. Constant tone night after night, venue after venue. Now if I can only get my drummer to play  at a constant volume  :hair-out: :hair-out:

IIUC, you load your IR's into the Headrush, not hte 1101, right?
If so, how do you configure the 1101 WRT finalization?

No,I load the ir's into the gsp. The wedges only contain the speakers and power amp.
