Title: Intellifex as a Whammy Pedal
Post by: Chip Roberts on May 16, 2017, 03:33:46 PM
Hey dudes.  As I'm considering switching to a Rocktron intellifex Blackface, I'm curious if you can send its pitch change functions to an expression pedal to use like a whammy?

Hey Chip,

If the Intelliflex supports MIDI Continuous Control, you should be able to. You'll have to consult the manual to find the controller number to assign to the pedal if it does.

Yes, you can
See page 40 - 43 of the manual. Lengthy process like 11 steps but it can be done. Not really a cc, but you can assign the min and max parameters  for the pitch and route it to pedal.

If you can assign it to a pedal to scroll from minimum to maximum, then I would call that CC, but if it only toggles between the two, then you are right.
