Ok even if they did sound different...in which they shouldnt but even if they did I think your all losing the fact that their was an Update for a reason... It fixes all the Midi Issues with version 1.38 which is a huge deal seeing as its a MIDI Preamp.
I have a 1.38 chips laying around I'm not even going to bother with a comparsion for the straight that it would be a step backwards.
