Title: B200s vs Mesa 20/20 w/MP1
Post by: VoxG2 on December 23, 2016, 07:30:30 PM
I am really starting to grow on this B200s, but I am intrigued by the lower watt stereo tube power amps like the Mesa 20/20 EL84. Anyone using one of those or one like it such as Marshall 20/20 or that Russian company R & R? I am curious if they are much more of an upgrade to the B200s. Thanks.

Chester The Jester had one of those that he used with his MP-1 and 3TM modded MP-1, and he raved about it, but he only used it at home as far as I know.

These Russian guys make a clone of the 20/20 and other cool stuff too. http://rnramp.com/products

   That's a solid state amp, isn't it?

Nope it's almost the same as the boogie 20/20, a dual 20 watt amp with el84 tubes
