Sorry, I don't visit here very often, but I am stoked to see so many people having chimed in. You rock!

And what about your 9040 power amp? Is it rocking as well???  :headbanger:

It is! I think it sounds more than good enough to warrant using instead of my 9100 in a live setting. I'm currently redoing much of my main rig, however, and it might be relegated to run effects in a w/d/w setup soon. But definitely glad I've never gotten rid of it!

These solid state Marshall power amps are very good workhorses, indeed.
Solid as rocks and they have THE MARSHALL TONE inside.
Currently I own a Marshall 8008 Valvestate power amp in my backup rack (Zoom 9150 + Marshall 8008) and it's a very good amp (tested with the MP-1 as well, it rocks!).
A friend o' mine owns a 9200 Dual Monoblock and a 9005 all tube Marshall power amps and then he uses a Marshall 8008 in his rack for anything.

Good score!  :thumb-up:
On the run again!
