Never heard of these but they look like the "red letter" chinese tubes ADA used as stock tubes in their mp-1's.

Let us know after you try them out Gerry. If they are like MJMP says like the stock MP1 tubes I definitely want some. :headbanger:

I've seen other red letter tubes out there also, but I would be doubtful they were the same as the stock MP1 tubes.  Just at a guess, as there are too many sellers on ebay with them.

These particular ones I have found though seem to have some kind of reputation for thermselves.

I'll give them a go in my stock MP1 and see what happens.

Ok meant to get back a while ago.

Are these tubes good.................well the aint bad.

I took out some groove tubes that where in my stock MP1 and put these in instead.  And to be honest I did not notice a massive difference.  However in a weird combo, of the Beijing tube in P1 and one of the groove tubes in P2 I got a nice bum in the mids.  Although less bottom end.  This could be compensated though of course using EQ.  But I thought that was an interesting outcome.

I'll post some clips.  Bare in mind everyone, my setup is completely different from most of you guys, and the tones may be different for you.  It might work out better for you than me.  I wouldn't say they are a waste to have bought them, but nothing mega leaped out at me compared to the groove tubes I had in before (I bought this mp1 in March and it had the groove tubes already in).
