Looking for an ADA MQ
Maybe a tip, you can also look for a Rane MPE14. The analog circuit is the same as the MQ-1. ADA sold the MQ-1 design to Rane and they made the MPE14 out of it.
Now both are pretty hard to find.
Found a Rane mpe 28 on Ebay ,and found a powersupply for 230 vac.
Mpe28 = mpe14 's big brother. :headbanger: :headbanger: :headbanger:
the eq i bought an Altex does not respond on channel switching with Boss FC-50, or through other midi devices.
Got the Rane Mpe 28 only you gotta leave it power.
Otherwise it empties your memory with settings :headbanger:
It sounds like the memory battery is dead.
the manual says you must leave on power otherter wise chance of memeory fail. lose of data from memory.
Wihich battery is needed? thnx for help.

I have the mpe 14 and it takes a BR 2025 3 volt button cell battery. as far as the manual Ive never read it because the unit was fairly simple enough.
I did own the mpe 28 for a little while but all I did was experiment with it I never had it open. In fact I don't think I even tried to save any patches because it not being stereo wasn't going to work for me.
