yeah who wrote that song again MJMP?  I can't remember dammit!

Hey I agree, it's not a straight rip off, but it is very similar in all the good ways.  And as I mentioned, it's a fantastic song, lots of emotion which is good.  If wrote something like that I'd be proud, it does stand up on it's own right but with a tip of the hat to uh that band I can't remember!!  Dam what are they called??????   :???:

I am checking out Trance right now!

Can't stop listening to this

I'm pretty sure they used a drum machine on this album!  It sounds great, really suits the music!

Don't know that band, who are they?

the formed out of Aria, the Russian band.

They are a Russian Thrash band from the 80's.  I am very fond of the first two albums.  The second album is above in the picture, the first is here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpiUjIqs2WU

I listened to their other stuff which is good also but the singer suddenly is trying to be more Phil Anselmo, and ti think that was a bad move since he had a more unique voice himself as opposed to copying Pantera.  The music also gets a little Pantera in places in the 90's albums which I don't like.

1st two albums are genius for me though.

Only 2 other rock women besides Grace Slick have that vocal range or more, Lita Ford.... :amaze:.drool...... or the queen of rock Pat Benatar.

Now there's a good album (from one of my all time fav bands), we used to use burn as a good warm up song at rehearsals. We also did you fool no one in the set back in the days. It's hard enough at the album speed, then the drummer bought along a live version which was heaps faster... I still can't go past can't just take your life, great song.

I really like the former band (Paice/Glover/Lord/Blackmore/Gillian), but I really like what Glenn Hughes & David Coverdale brought !
here is a good example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4fDCwDiWJQ

There's been a couple of new releases recently ...

Last in Line: Heavy Crown (with Jimmy Bain)
Inglorious: Self Titled Debut

I've been particularly impressed with the Inglorious debut, Nathan James performs the vocal duties very well ... I wouldn't usually comment on vocals, but this is impressive, I think I can hear a Deep Purple influence :thumb-up:

@MJMP did you get a chance to listen to the Scorpions Revisited album by Uli Jon Roth? I think Nathan James does the vocals on most of these tracks as well.
