Again very good albums but for me the first Skid Row albam was much better.

As a whole, yes the first is way better. However, Monkey Business is pinch harmonic filled masterpiece!

I like pinch harmonics and I do them all the time as some of you have heard. 

But when Zak Wyld does them I want to stop doing them as I hate his guitar playing tone and everything about him

I'm with you on the pinch harmonics!! As much of metal guitar as palm muting.
As for Zak, his harmonics would sound better I'd he didn't use such off the wall tunings. Just my opinion.

I'm not a full on "dun dun dun dun" constant chugger or a palm muter type but it's scattered all over the place in my playing, just not for ten bars at a time sorta thing if you get me.

Yeah I agree on Wyld, he's using f**king crazy tuning that for me is way too stoner!!!! 

I think I'm the only person these days still playing concert pitch.  I've never f*cked about with alternate tunings, ever.  Not even dropped D.  Some people are horrified at this but I don't need a tuning to make my sound heavy.  Highway to hell riff for example.  Heavy as f*ck in my opinion!!  And that's ACDC!!!  Enough of my ranting!

I hear ya on the tunings.  I only use standard 440 and I also use a half step down. Back in high school I used a whole step down but haven't done that is years lol!

Well standard tuning for me also,never liked that whole down tuning thing,we are guitar players not bass players.And i makes your sound bad.Not my cup of tea,but again who am I

I'm surprised you guys are using standard same as myself.  I thought all the cool kids was drop tuning to B and shit like that.  f*ck that!  I'd say 80% of what I listen to is standard.

Mind you a lot of Priest is half a step, and Motorhead!!  god dammit!!
