Tube swap to test

Hi guys, trying to save myself some time if this is crazy I won't tear everything apart. Would the tubes out of my mp-2 work in the mp-1 for a quick test? Assuming everything is stock and not modded.
Rack Gear -> Alesis 3630 | ADA MP-1 | Marshall JMP-1 | Digitech DHP-55.

Controller -> Rocktron Midi Mate

Tubes should be 12ax7 so it should be fine.
