This is one of the :crazy: 'est MIDI things I've come across!
A MIDI device with gears and steppermotors to turn knobs on pedals:

Wow...that's nuts. They are not very instantaneous, either...takes a full second for the pot to stop turning... useless

Yeah, but you can't say some people ain't inventive..  :lol:

On the other hand, when used right, the slow turning could be used for a smooooth blending action  :dunno:

If I remember correctly, there was a Soldano Midi Preamp that had motorized pots.

Yup, the Soldano/Caswell X99. The Yamaha DG1000 has the same motorized pots
