New tube technology soon to be released

Hi all, it is without hiding much pride I can offer you all a preview to a new technology I've been busy working on.

A new tube has been designed. Rather than the old fashioned power consuming heater technology, I have successfully tested a new method for generating the electron cloud.
The new technology is based on observations of how new stars are formed in gas clouds of interstellar matter, and involves using a micro laser for Ionizing particles emitted from a gas. The gas itself it generated by bombarding a new element, currently not part of the accepted periodic table that I've named Duras-311.
This new electron cloud generating technology consumes a mere 50 mA per stage.

Further, the new tube houses triple amplification stages (as opposed to conventional dual triodes).
Each amplification stage can be programmed for triode, quartode, or pentode operation.
The new 16-pin micro-socket facilitates not only this programming, but also allow the three amplification stages to be arranged in several ways.
Thus, it is possible to arrange a complete driver/phase-splitter plus balanced push-pull setup, all within one compact tube.
Also possible is the arrangement of two triode stages plus a cathode follower stage.

The aforementioned triode/quartode/pentode facilities allowes for emulating the characteristics of various amplifiers, all within one single tube, on each separate amplification stage.

Well, there's a 311 bus route to Duras?

Or then again, there's a Klingon leader called Duras? He was born on the 1st April in the year 2152 ;)

That was a good one Van,you got me fooled for a while.I was thinking WTF is this until it hit me it was the 1th of april.

Well, as we all know, dreams are the stuff life is made from - like stars being born from interstellar matter ;)
Now, where's Pink Floyd's Interstellar Drive when I need it..

It's an interesting concept you came up with and always good to dream  :thumb-up:

Yeah, innit? But hush hush, don't tell anyone that I'm essentially an interstellar traveler who found out what 'they' don't want us to know:
That we are limitless, and as such can move freely in Cosmos by the sheer power of mind.
If you knew what I've witnessed on my travels..  Powerful the pineal gland is!

MarshallJMP

Well i think you should wright a book about it   :thumb-up:

pineal gland :???:

I had to look it up to find out what a pineal gland was ... apparently it's in the brain, and can sometimes be referred to as the "third eye" ... I always thought the "third eye" was located somewhere completely different, gives a whole new meaning to the expression "shit for brains"

I kind of think about it as we are everywhere already, so it's more a matter of where you focus.  This makes more sense if you expand your version of "time" and understand that while it seems linear (here on earth), it's not.  And as we come to understand gravity better (which is happening) the (limitless) possibilities become clearer.

Well I was hoping it was something in the lines of this http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2015/02/05/your-questions-answered-about-the-korg-noritake-nutube-vacuum-tube-on-a-chip/ and now they made the first amp out of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB5QXWfPoaI... BTW has no one seen this before?

Yeah, I've very briefly heard of those but forgot to do research; thanks for redrawing my attention ;)
I also know of the various micro-tubes, and on the old Depot, we had a brief discussion once with Marshall, and IIRC Matt too, adding some info on how those did not sound like the real deal.

I'll be doing some more poking on those Nutube chips. Damn, someone always has to beat my ideas..

BTW, some interesting info and comments on the referred link:
"i think what everyone wants to know is do they glow?"
Hehe, same as with guitars "..but does it djent?"

Hey El, thanks for the link, interesting, could be the heart of a MP3, hope they make a long plate version LoL.
