S1000 stuck on perma repeat
« on: Time Format »

I picked up an s1000 for cheap.  When I don’t have any options selected or with the echo depressed, it’s a steady signal being created.  Even with nothing plugged in.  It’s seeing signal on the input that doesn’t react to the input level.  The mix is the only thing that will affect the effect.

Now, I have checked things out and they ‘appear’ to be fine, so I know I’m missing something.

My first guess is the delay feedback/repeats/regeneration is either turned up or not working properly  :dunno:

Correct.  It’s almost like there is a crossed line.

Does the feedback pot change anything soundwise?

The tone does shift. Low range to upper range clarity.

There is a silver bar that is loosely attached to the 5 buttons.  It is shifted to the left. And loose.  Maybe it’s supposed to be like this.  I’m not certain.
Now if I could figure out how to convert a pic.  Lol
