Sounds great, and you almost nailed the tone (98% ).Just missing the school uniform. ::)I got the schoolboy uniform Marsh, it just that at this point of the concert, I did the striptease (On "The JacK")...
Ok so my only complain is that you are not playing ADA gear in there! lolDon't be silly now, this is AC/DC, not A/DA!!!
hi chucky, sounds great and also looks great ! but I 'm almost abble to hear you: "I need more space , gimme a bigger stage to make the show"Well that is true in most cases... It's quite rare we get a stage where I can actually run around freely like any
Hey Chuck you need a Marshall,i'll send you one of mine :lol:Go ahead my friend...Anyways you have too many!!
Nah,great playing !!! I love ACDC!!! but then again who doesn't ::)
Hey Chucky That H&K preamp you dug up would work well I recon, reminded me of Marshall tonesOh I keep trying stuff out... Don't worry!!!
Mmm, I sometimes think of resurrecting it, I put some boogie SPA 12AX7s in it a while ago, it's got a bit of a hum I need to get sorted at some point and it needs a power soak if you want to be in the same room as it >:DMy Carvin X100B is a 100 watter and believe me, it eats 50W amps for breakfast...
Hey Chucky,I actually used my Classic on the first rehearsal we did... Well actually my "audition" night.
I just got to see this......you RAWK :metal:
You should try the MP-1 Classic. It sounds like the old Marshalls if you select the right program. But you guys have a good rendition of the overall sound, so don't mess with it!

Hey R,looks to me like he's daring you,so pack your marshall, take a plain to Canada and kick that carvins ass :amaze: :lol:Well that would fun, I'd really like to go to Canada, just wish I could afford it. The Marshall would definitely give any amp a run for it's money volume wise, it's a very loud amp >:D
Back in the day - pre ADA - I used a Carvin X100b and a Marshall JCM800. Carried both halfstacks in my 1971 VW Squareback...the heads were stored in the 'hood' because the engine was in the back. I would pop the hood and there would be two 100w heads inside ;)
That Carvin held it's own just fine and the EQ was a very nice feature.
I saw them live here in Cph back in their haydays, and I'd say you guys do a pretty neat job at it.In Thunderstruck (Older show) I was using my Reezafratzitz.
Your tone is amazingly correct, given the gear somewhat different from Angus'.
I'd say his tone had more presence to it; I think yours (in Thunder) has a Bit too much in the 1100-1500 Hz range.
I could easily be wrong, but didn't he play a lot with both pups on (in parallel)?
Hi Chucky, so You're on the way to get Angus gear ?Not really... I'm trying to pull it off with whatever I have already and going low budget.
Does a jcm800 or JTM45 cost so much in Canada??Here you get these used for around 800-900 euro's,downside is they are a bit hard to find.Well 900 Euros is about $1500...So it is pretty much the same price.
That tone is exactly what I'm shooting for when I write my standard 'Classic Rock' patches for all my guitars/preamps.
Nice job, Chucky!

So now you 're quite all set Chucky : you got a good voice... got the canons... got the zeratza...razefri...frezatri... Well, this pedal you use as distortion, so you got the tone... everything is Ok !Well it USED to be the Reezafratzitz, but I found better for AC/DC.
Too bad you live in Canada, would love to see a show. You guys are great :thumb-up:Here's another reason for you to come down and visit!! ;)
Now if you want to be truly authentic, you're gonna have to track down an Axl Rose impersonator. :facepalm:Funny thing...I can actually do Axl quite good. But I'd rather stick to wank that SG and let the spitting to someone else. :amaze:
