I just tried my MB-1 and if i set it on internal,power off and on it starts on internal.Strange yours doesn't.What software rev do you have on yours?

It shows 2.05 on start up.

Just brainstorming; maybe it has something to do with my MC-1 foot controller being connected on power up?

This is not really a big deal.  We're talking about one button press to get back to the internal programs.  I thought it might be a simple fix, guess not.  All of the midi patches are copies of their corresponding internal patch until they are reassigned, so no difference really.
