Not familiar with that one either (do tell) they (spirits) don't tend to last long around my place >:D , I have a penchant for Islay Malts like a Bowmores 21 yr old mmmm.
I'm not much of a beer drinker these days (a bit un Australian of me LoL). I was when I was 15. When I was in Frankfurt (1985) I particularly liked the pilsner, nothing much like that here back then.

It's from the Edradour. The smallest (legal) distillery in Scotland, which is Speyside country. Under the Ballachin brand they issue some heavily peated drams fully in Islay style :thumb-up:

Ahhh, the Edradour. My favourite whiskey. I was just telling Richard aboit it the other day. Its not so easy to stumble across here in Austrlia. They also make the House of Lords whiskey. I'll have to try to dig up a Ballachin. Thanks for the tip.

Ah we got a (virtual) bar again,nice.We could do some reviews of beer and spirits here.
BTW did you guys know that here in Belgium we 1150 sorts of beer and 180 breweries?

yep i tried it once,very good beer but i like the abt12 over the tripple.I'm just more fond of brown beers.But the abt12 has 10% so you can't drink too much unless you want to get drunk quicly >:D

I had dinner at a Belgian restaurant in London many years ago. Not much on the menu for vegans. Pretty much just chips. I asked the waitress if there was such a thing as a dessert beer. She recommended a Trappist ale. Can't remember which one, but it was dark and rich and velvety. Soooo smooth. Also very very strong. I'm pretty sure it was well over the 10% mark. Needed two attempts to get up when it was time to leave (It wasnt my first drink of the night). Must rediscover these beers!

I don't know how many people here are from Texas gulf coastal region but we have a couple killer microbreweries here. I'm very much partial to Karbach Rodeo Clown Double IPA. It's different, lots of flavored to compliment the trademark IPA bite. It's a bit strong too.

My favorite beer recently became Stella Artois. Otherwise I'm having Lime-a-ritas. lol

Mmmm stella always seems to give me a headache :lol: Really ,don't have this with other beers like Jupiler,unless i go over the top.

True story: I brought a bunch of these beers in a cooler to a neighborhood function. My next door neighbor took one sip and grimaced like he just swallowed a turd. In the middle of the beer, he looks at me and says 'this is pretty good' Ha ha :lol:
