VA is for ADA Lovers
« on: Time Format »

Greetings from lovely Norfolk, Va.

A few weeks ago I stumbled across a very nice ADA MP-1 rig, with a B200s power amp. I jumped on it with the quickness and have not been able to stop using it since. I am in love. Coming from a diehard vintage Marshall guy I am shocked that I have been so smitten with rack gear. In my circle "rack" is a bad word. Hahahaha. I play crossover hardcore/thrash but love everything from Prince to old country and western. I find that the MP1 setup covers just about everything I need.

I am also fond of tinkering with electronics and just about everything I get my hands on. I quickly took the MP-1 unit apart and did the battery modification that I learned about on this lovely forum. I cannot believe the amount of useful information accessible on this site. Thank you all! Looking forward to obtaining more ADA gear. I am looking for the MP-2 and possibly a Classic!

Welcome to the DEPOT! I highly recommend an MP-2  :thumb-up: and, if you can find one, a Classic for sure

So I assume the Classic is a hard get, then?

I don't think they made many clasics  :dunno: we never saw them in Australia.  They turn up from time to time, and then you need to get a good one.
