Hi folks!

Just found this:
https://www.nembriniaudio.com/collections/guitar-amplifier/products/mp1-pro-programmable-tube-guitar-amplifier

Cool news for us ADAniacs with home recording setups! I just bought it, it is on sale for only USD 29.99

Interesting, I wonder how it compares to the actual MP-1 rig. It looks like it also includes some form of Microcab with it?
I only have two brain cells left, ...and I'm saving them for the weekend!

I like the mic options  :thumb-up: and cab emulator! How does it sound?

Man that sure is cool!! What is your opinion on how close it sounds to the original MP-1 Radar?

Yeah, It was an instant buy :headbanger:
Just the look of it, and the price was enough to convince me.

I don't have my recording stuff set up at the moment because I'm on the move to a new location, so I have no clue how it sounds yet. All I know is that I like Nembrini, their Voice30 AC-30 plugin is excellent.

I fixed your Youtube linky  :thumb-up:

That does sound pretty dang good....the lead tones are very nice and I think I'm hearing the chorus back there

There are sound clips on their SoundCloud account too:

Thank for sharing that Radar!

It's interesting for sure because it seems they were very specific in going for the MP-1 tones. And of course playing through it will be the real test to see how it feels in your playing compared to the actual MP-1. I might have to give this a try.  :)

Here is another demo of it with Leon Todd.
I knew he would dig this one, so check it out.

That was a good review - although it still would not help in your rack but great for recording.

Yes, it's a great demo of the software itself, and it would be the cheaters way of recording the MP-1 if like us, we already own it.
For someone who never had the good fortune to play through an actual MP-1, or any other ADA gear for that matter, it would be a good way to get an idea what it sounds like and how easy it is to use.

They've got a plugin for the iPhone and iPad - I went down that road a while back, trying to use my iPad as a backup 'direct' rig. I bought some plugins for Amplitube and it did sound pretty good, but I need to get a new interface (aka iRig or something like it) as mine is really cheap and crappy.

However, you can still control your iPad patches with a midi footswitch. That's cool. There's a bluetooth foot pedal out there too, I never tried it

Honestly, if I used the Marshall amp model, with all the knobs dimed, it sounded pretty good in my headphones. I never tried running it through a PA. I'd imagine you could make yourself a rig in an iPad and hope for the best
