I have to say that I still love these FX units, including the TC G-Major.

The quality is extremely good yet, even if they are old machines.
The Intellifex has reverb effects that remind of Lexicon PCM80/90 units...

If I had not FX units, the Quadraverb is the one I would go for surely.

I've heard good things about the Intellifex but never had one.  My TC MOne is the studio version (XLR in/out) and similar to the G-Maj.  just less guitar focussed I spose.  It lives in my studio rack.  I tried it briefly in my new(ish) 4 RU live rack but wasn't happy with it there (either 4 cable chaining or in the stereo loop), the Midiverb4 works better and I now have it in the MP-2 stereo fx loop (which I'd never used before).  Though I still prefer the original QV in my 8 RU live rack running off 2 fx sends with my Yamaha 8 ch AM802 mixer. I suspect part of why the original QV sounds better (to me) is the direct signal stays analogue where later units A/D the input and D/A the output, e.g. that's how the TC fxs work.

Yep...the signal path is different.
I love all those FX units, including G-Major...but I cannot wait to test my modified Quadraverb, as soon as Fabrizio will complete the job.

The old/first Intellifex version (the one called BlackFace) is an excellent one...if you've a Quadraverb and an old Intellifex, you miss nothing!
