Are you going through a Dolly Parton phase, this would explain the cowboy boots :amaze:

You're right and I'm Ok with that. that's why I love music, there is always to learn that make you evolve. And Dolly parton is still a great singer, song written... and manymore

Hey tg, if it was all the same it would be boring  :thumb-up: .  It's a testimony to the ADA preamps how versatile they are.  I've noticed that Country has gotten a bit more rocky as the younger players come through, I actually like quite a bit of it (never thought I'd say that)

He's not a shredder, or a Metal player, but he writes some of the best lyrics I've ever heard.

It doesn't matter what genre of music you have.  Good music is good music.  You guys would probably freak if you could see all the different music I have stored in my iTunes.  :thumb-up:

I love songs that take me away somewhere when I listen to them.  It's what I strive to do with my own writing; to take the listener somewhere.

I just listened to this, first time I've heard of Jex Thoth, sounds good to me :thumb-up: Is the rest of the album similar?

IMO, "Blood Moon Rise" is a GREAT album.  Definitely one of my favorites, and every song "takes me somewhere" everytime I listen.
 Cool story:
My band shared a rehearsal studio with Jex and her band, and even though I saw them almost every weekend coming in as we were leaving I really didn't know who they were but they were always nice.  Then one day we were all there together outside taking a fresh air break, making small talk, etc.  Found out who she is, and that they tour Europe like twice a year.  :o  So I did a Youtube search for their songs and I was hooked.  I eventually bought her entire album catalog and she graciously signed everything.  I'm very happy and proud to know them; such down-to-earth and humble people.  Such a refreshing change from the normal "rockstar" and "diva" attitudes I usually encounter meeting other musicians. And I'll tell you, that goes a very long way with me.
