I hope this can be a long running thread like the "What are you listening to this week" thread, but with a narrower focus.
Did you hear a cover song you loved this week? What did you love about it?
Does it have to be Avant-garde? Nope. Just a cover you enjoyed.
That being said, I just listened to this one searching for a related song from this guitarist on YouTube.

I enjoyed that one a lot. Outside of a corny intro, when they kicked it in, they really had the pacing and feel of the song.
Very cool. Mary is cool, watched several vids of hers; don't know the dude..
Not easy turning Sultans of Swing into metal and getting away with it
Cool idea with this surely recurring thread, Zilthy.
If only I was in a position to record, I'd suggest a ditto members weekly cover, but wth, someone should just do it - to put pressure on me.. ;)
Last week I found this Rush cover band and they are really good at this.

Once again checking out female drummers, and noticed damn amazing Kristina Rybalchenko performing so well on a limited drum kit.
In these times of everything extended, I love seeing limited gear maxed out.
Apart from the one below, do check out her other vids, especially "Royal Blood - Out Of The Black".
CHOCOSLAYC & KRIS DRUMMER - BlackBox ( Intervals Cover )
A friend turned me on to this one today, good way to start the new year.
What if Enter Sandman was on And Justice For All?

Got some Joan Jett going on up in here, and it's about TIME. ;)
Jett's voice, and this song, reminds me of early Patti Smith; me likes..
Gabriela Gunčíková's version of Love Hurts.
What a voice, I get tears from it..
A lovely drum duel between Tarn Softwhip and Ken Zeal. Song is unknown to me.
What? You don't follow drummers from the Far Orient, tsk tsk..
Great stuff, they both smile a lot, having outright fun.
My cover band (Mugshotz) plays this Lady Ga Ga cover of Poker Face by Leo Manicotti (or whatever his last name is)
