MT-200 as a bass amp?
« on: Time Format »

Might be a stupid question, but can my ADA Microtube 200 be used as a bass amp?

Thanks,

Anthony

Hey Anthony, sure, it will work fine as a bass amp, I don't have the MT200 manual for its freq response etc but I assume its basically a higher powered version of the MT100 which is 20Hz to 30kHz, Damping factor (how well it pulls the speakers up) of 16 (should be fine), and slew rate (how fast it can go from nothing to flat chat (if required)) of 6 volts per micro second (fine for bass and guitar), and clean as they come, will make a great bass amp :thumb-up: .
