I saw this on a fb page and I find it interesting in the fact that its a very practical setup specially if you guys gig a lot a want to set up fast! For sure this comes from a player that you would not imagine but here are his comments:

"For fans of guitar, (left), this is my traveling practice rig. It's got a Kemper profiling amp in it, loaded with profiles I made of some of my favorite amps. The cab is a vintage Dumble 1x12 that I've had for a while and love. It's the ultimate tone machine on wheels. For fans of my face (right), here is my face. Everybody wins!" - John Mayer

Hey El, very practical indeed, it would suit Dante, shame it's mono though.

Yeha the mono thing will limit stuff out but you can allways carry an extra one with just with another speaker cab.

Not to mention those profilers are $2000 - $3000 U.S. OUCH!!

I bet it sounds pretty bad ass though!

Yeha but I was thinking that one can do that with a MP-1 and an FX Processor.

Hey El, absolutely. Really depends on your needs. e.g. I've very much settled on my tones/sound, also I don't play in a rock covers band on the circuit anymore, so I now use about 3 or 4 patches. But back when I did that stuff, the MP1 and FX worked a treat, but cost wise back then is not dissimilar to the price of these profiler/cloners. If I ignore the tone generation aspect (give me tubes any day), these profiling pre-amps are very versatile (and getting better). I'm interested to hear how they sound profiling a MP1/2 MB/1 ?

BTW: my signal is mono in the mains anyway, it is only stereo on stage
