Hello everyone, Ah'm currently on the market for a tube power amp with a wattage of 50 or above.

Ah'm interested in a Peavey 50/50
Mesa 50:50
VHT power amps
Marshall power amps

or anything else you can throw at me!

Thanks everyone!

Hey Jarrod, I bought a Carvin TS100 all valve 50w per channel and am very happy with it, plenty of grunt and nice transparent sound which matches well with my MP2.  I think it cost me around $600 AUD new but in the US they are probably a bit cheaper ?

Unfortunately the Carvin Ts100 in the states it is still $599 new. Ah've heard a lot of good about that power amp, but Ah can't find any used, and would much rather like to buy something like this on the used market (Because Ah'm a cheapass and would much rather paying under 400 bones for a power amp (Would very much rather pay around $150-300 but Ah know that'd be grabbing at straws with some of these power amps)  )

Definately going to keep looking around for the Carvin, but ah'm hoping that someone here will make me a good offer on something! Hahah!

Check the used section at Guitar Center. I know they had a Peavey classic 50 / 50 not long ago. Probably have some others.

  Hey jarrodthebobo,

I have a Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 power amp that I'm thinking about parting with. PM me and we can discuss details.

If your deal with Guitar George doesn't work out, look around for a Mosvalve too. Very nice sounding amps, if you can find them.
