The speakers in both the vintage and normal split stacks are the same.In the vintage cabs there is a filter which can be swiched off and on the mimic a vntage cab.

Well I'm officially ADA less. Sold my remaining pair of split cabs a couple days ago. Along with my Peavey Classic 50 / 50 power amp. Maybe down the road I will get another MP-1. We had a good ride.

Bummer, well we  still like you regardless  :thumb-up: Try the MP2 next time ?, I've had both and prefer it (lots of gain and very versatile).

What a classic setup.

What did you migrate to?

Don't play out anymore. Just recording stuff at home now. Mainly using a Yamaha THR10X ( totally killer amp ) & a POD XT Live. Getting some great Plexi tones with the XT through my PA speakers. Nothing beats the sound of a tube amp. But these two do a good job for what I'm doing. The Yamaha sounds like it has tubes. It's that good.

That Yamaha amp is good, I've tried it.

The first thing I asked 'are there toobs in there?!?'
