Hello From STL
« on: Time Format »

Hey y'all,

I'm on a quest to get an MB-1, then I'll be a full fledged member.  Thinking about using a crown xls1000 to power it.

Good to see a bunch of responses.   I wasn't sure how active this forum was. Yeah I'm watching that one on the 'Bay.  I've lurked a little here; the members seem pretty supportive.  I can't wait to get one and start experimenting.

Hey Mate, Welcome to the depot, the crown xls1000 will be perfect, clean and plenty grunt and probably good dampening factor for large bass speakers.  Run it in stereo if you can (have enough cabs) to get the best out of the MB1.  Peter is the MB1 expert here so far and MJMP the technical guru for all things ADA.  Hope you get one soon.
Cheers Richard

I'll be right there with you on the MB-1 with some patches as soon as I can get mine cleaned and get the battery replaced next month.  My Hartke will hold the fort down until then.  If I get the time soon, I am going to take a high-res picture of my original laminated factory patch setting sheet.  I could send that to you if you would like.

Yeah, that would be great.  I'm probably getting off topic with this, but I'm kind of a DIY EE so I'd like to know what the 'must have' mods for the MB-1 are.
