Go Peter, nice set up, also like the website and very much the attitude  :thumb-up: I'd love to do some work with you sometime (bummer being on the other side of the globe to one another..).  My second love (after guitar) is audio engineering (only course I ever came first in  :whoohoo!: ), I've given up guitar building/repairs (another passion) as it stuffs my hands to much.

A question for you, my Nakamitchi CD player will only play red book standard CDs, not burnt (unless a direct copy of commercial CD, moreover some newer commercial CDs have problems as well, seems the world has/is given up on the red book standard) CDs, so I need to insert stop start points (I seem to remember from my Bob Katz mastering book) to make it happy, any ideas on how I can do this without spending lots of $s. My other CD player doesn't mind but the Nak just sounds so good, particularly with my QUAD ESL 63s (Behringer Eurorack UB2442FX-PRO > QUAD 44 preamp > QUAD 606 power amp > QUAD ESL 63s)

Cheers Richard

And thanks to the Internet, the other side of the globe isn't that far away anymore 8)

I always burn redbook standard CDRs with Wavelab.
Most critical point, IIRC, being the 2 seconds silence before start.
