Hello ADA Society
« on: Time Format »

Hello and thank you for having me as a member of this group.  I've played guitar since 1979 and although that may seem like a long time,  I am not nearly as talented as some.  Never the less,  I enjoy playing guitar and making music as much as anything.  I have owned a multitude of gear over the years but seem to always be trading or selling for something different.  Currently my amplification is going in a new direction once again.  I'm putting together yet another rack rig that consists of  ADA MP1 (just won tonight on Auction Site and should receive the unit soon)  Rocktron Intellifex  and a custom 2x12  cab made to Mesa  Rectifier Specs  containing a pair of V30 wired for stereo.  No power amp as of yet.   My main influence is John Petrucci.  I enjoy Joe Satriani and Malmsteem as well as most 80's hard rock.

Hey Metropolis, welcome to the depot, if you've not used MP1 before get ready to be amazed. Hopefully your new purchase will be great out of the packing, but hey there's lots of good help here should you need it (generally new tubes is a good idea depending how old.. check the tube section here for ideas).
Lots of power amps around, with MP1 best is clean, transparent and augments with you gear (cab(s)). There's quite a few post here re poweramps, just do a search.
Cheers Richard
