MP-2 missing resistor please help
« on: Time Format »

Hi guys my first post in here and I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I've opened up my MP-2 to start working on the noise mod. However when inspecting the board itself I noticed there is a resistor missing in D102 (schematic reference) on the board. D-102 is right next to the ROM chip. If someone could open up their MP-2 and verify that they have a resistor in that spot, and possibly what kind it is, I would be extremely grateful! Thanks! I've attached the Load chart if that helps you find it easier. :-)

Can't see a D102 (D stands for diode),are you sure it's a resistor?Maybe you mean C102?

Pretty sure its D102 Here is a screen shot from the Schematic, I've circled the spot. For reference U100 is the OS EPROM. Its definitely D just check the board, so it must be a diode. I'm not sure if the diode is missing or this is just an unused spot. So I need to confirm it is also not empty in another unit. If it's not empty what kind diode is in that spot so I can order one. Thanks!
