Hey guys, I've been cleaning out some old gear when I came across my 2.01 MP-1. It was modded by Hairston WAY back in the day. How much do you think it's worth? Anyone interested in taking it off my hands and owning a little bit of ADA history?
It's a little beat up. A lot of the jacks had to be replaced, as well as the transformer. Everything works as it should. It's got some high gain JJs in there. Still sounds great after all these years.

How exactly does this differ from stock ?
Does it have the noise reduction mod also ?

My bad! Just got your pm.
It has three tubes instead of two. There's an extra gain stage in there. Not sure about the noise mod. I've always used it with external noise reduction thru the effects loop.

Got the rack rig set up and sounding huge. 1st band rehearsal 4 songs in the T100S starts smoking. :dunno:
So back to the tech it went.
Got a killer deal on a Rocktron Velocity 300 that actually sounds killer . so I'm back up and running.
3TM sounds killer. Definitely more quiet than stock.

I'm "almost" positive that is my old 3tm!!
I sold that YEARS ago to a dude in Chicago I think.
I bent a rack ear back with pliers. duh I'd have to check my old serial version Originally it had a top switch I think - foggy memory. Take the lid off and peek inside. :)
anyway, I had sellers remorse about a year later when I heard some hi gain slide noodling I had recorded. What a killer pre that is!!!
